Americordo: Italy, Exile, and the New World after the Racial Laws of 1938

Following Mussolini's Racial Laws of 1938, roughly 1800 Italian Jews arrived in the United States. The intersection of worlds they created illuminates important moments of Italian and American history. Their untold story is the subject of this series including events on April 27 at the JCC and on April 28 at the Italian Cultural Institute.
