Towering buildings

Even today, some towers at Su Nuraxi stand tall. These sturdy buildings are splashed with daylight that comes through a window, a door, or an oculus. A visitor will have to imagine the wooden staircases and rope ladders that might have originally permitted people to ascend to the higher levels of these soaring buildings. In the same way, we can picture the items that likely once sat in these wall niches: fine pottery, oil lamps, and votive items have been found in this village.
