The Maurice Quartet was founded in 2002 in Turin. In 2009 its members graduated from the Special Quartet Course in the Music School of Fiesole (Florence, Italy). The Maurice Quartet has performed at the Venice Biennale 2013, "Minifest II" in Strasbourg (France), "Rassegna Nuova Musica" in Macerata, "Festival Villa Romana" in Florence, "Festival Nuova Musica" in Treviso, Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, “Festival dei Due Mondi” in Spoleto, Teatro Quirino in Rome, “Auditorium Sinopoli” in Fiesole, Bibiena Theater, Tortona Theater, "Gubbio Music Festival," and the "International Festival" in Imola. The Quartet collaborates with /nu/thing, a collective of Italian composers (Marco Momi, Eric Maestri, Andrea Sarto, Andrea Agostini, Raffaele Grimaldi, Daniele Ghisi).
