Musicians Against The Executive Order
Columbia University musicians and friends join forces to protest President Trump’s Executive Order barring citizens of seven nations from the USA
The program will include music by Schumann and Ysaye performed by Columbia undergraduates; new works by Columbia composer Ashkan Behzadi; piano improvisation by Ramin Arjomand, and electric guitar improvisation by Mario Diaz de Leon; jazz; concert spirituals; and improvisation by members of Columbia's Arab Music Ensemble.
Admission: Suggested donation $20
All proceeds will go to American Civil Liberties Union to support defenders of those barred entry to the USA by the Executive Order
