Carlo Cottarelli and Pierre Moscovici

This online panel with a question and answer session features former IMF Director and economist Carlo Cottarelli and former European Union Commissioner and French Minister of Finance Pierre Moscovici.

Carlo Cottarelli served as the IMF Director of Fiscal Affairs, as well as Italy's Extraordinary Commissioner for Spending Review; he is currently Director of the Italian Public Spending Observation Committee at Milan's Università Cattolica.

Pierre Moscovici was Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs, and served in the European Parliament and in the French National Assembly; he was also France's Minister for European Affairs and Minister for the Economy and Finance and is now President of the French Court of Auditors.

Daniele Schiavello (moderator) is an MPA candidate in Economic Policy at Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs.
