Abigail Asher
Abigail has been at the Italian Academy since 2006; she designs and writes (or edits) the print and online publications, the digital communications, the exhibitions (in the gallery and online), and the signage. She runs all academic and cultural events—apart from musical performances.
She is an editor and translator who has lived and worked in Milan and New York. Her publishing experience includes positions in the photo department and the editorial department at Connoisseur magazine and then at Abbeville Press, conceiving and producing fine art books and other illustrated volumes.
She earned her B.A. in history at the University of Chicago and she speaks French, Italian, and English.
