The political economy of nationalist populisms

I have been a student of economics, politics and the social sciences at large, and their connections to philosophy, for my whole academic career, with a considerable focus on developing countries and their situation and prospects. Over time I have become more concerned with making sense of phenomena that cross boundaries and affect the entire world, such as the nationalist populism that I will examine while at the Italian Academy.
I am an Associate Professor of Economics at the New School for Social Research and have a PhD in economics from Harvard University.
