Fabio Finotti

Director, Italian Cultural Institute in New York

Fabio Finotti is "Direttore per chiara fama" of the New York Italian Cultural Institute from January 2021. Previously he served as Director of the Center for Italian Studies at the University of Pennsylvania where in 2007 he was named the Mariano DiVito Professor of Italian Studies in the Department of Romance Language and where he is now Professor Emeritus. From 2019 to 2021 he also chaired the Interuniversity Program of Italian Studies at Trieste-Udine Universities. He is President of the Antonio Fogazzaro National Edition and a member of the Olympic Academy in Vicenza. He serves on the board of directors of several scientific journals and editorial series. He is the international president of AISLLI-Unesco (International Association for the Studies of Italian Language and Literature).
